Aid to entrepreneurs from public and private entities in Spain: Video 45 min

TYPES OF PUBLIC AID

Reimbursable Contribution: “co-financing” returned in a certain period of time at zero cost or less than that offered by the bank.

Subsidy: In general, it should not be returned if all the objectives and forms established a priori are met.

Co-financing: there are models in which the public entity co-finances a project with a percentage of the financing provided by the partner.

Tax Discounts: Very interesting, especially in the early stages of the company and for small projects, in which to reduce some taxes such as Self-Employed or Personal Income Tax.

Under 30 years of age: also, if the entrepreneur is under 30 years of age, there is a specific aid package for young people.

The woman: if the administrator of the company or project is a woman, she can receive numerous advantages and help, both nationally and internationally. It is important to be well informed of those that may be more interesting.

Contribution to Society, Culture or Community: those projects that contribute to the enrichment of society, a specific community or region or culture in general, will also be taken into account when receiving public aid.

Promotion of business activity: if the project or company is going to promote employment or cultural economic activity in general, it will also be able to opt with more guarantees that it can receive public aid.

Creation of a New Company: reduction of taxes and expenses when creating the company.

AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITIES

Consult not only the Ministry of Education and Culture, but also other ministries that have transversal aid to finance projects where we can frame ours.

Also, investigate the Institutes, General Directorates or other public bodies of the CCAA.

To request a grant or subsidy, go first to the Administrations. You can examine the different possibilities of aid for your project first at the local level, and then move on to higher levels, such as the Commonwealth, Provincial Council, Regional, Autonomous, and National Government (the Ministries of Education and Culture, although we can go to other ministries, depending on the nature and purpose of our project).
